Public Property Inventory module
The Informatic Unit of the Financial Administration Department of Buenos Aires City (DGUIAF) commissioned to our .Net Labs the development of a new module of their Integrated Financial System (SIGAF). The new module would let them build an analitycal inventory for the more than 100 thousand new registries of public property that the city has every year.
BVision’s team, conformed by one architect, one technical leader and six Senior and Semi Senior developers, handled the full project lifecycle from the definition of objectives & system specifications to system procurement, configuration, testing, and rollout.
Working closely with the different Goverment Departments, our strategists were able to isolate the project’s core values and engineer an efficient programming paradigm that could handle the high volume o data and minimum time of response required by the client.
To allow the automatic registry of an asset directly from the Integrate Financial System (SIGAF), our team had to examine the complete Purchase Catalogue as well as handle the integration between SIGAF’s database built with Oracle forms and the new module .Net system.
The project was a huge success. The module was used as Case Study for other Argentine jurisdisdictions and caught the interest of the Finance Departments of several Latinoamerican countries.
